Madhya Pradesh presented its renewable energy roadmap in Davos during WEF. Possibilities of cooperation with Green Energy-3000 and Peace Invest on clean energy, hydro-energy projects, EPC, investment and co-investment models were discussed.

During the World Economic Forum, New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Rakesh Shukla shared information about Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy roadmap, recent project developments and policies being adopted by the state government to promote clean energy. He said that the tender and procurement processes of the state are favorable for foreign developers and this is giving wide opportunities to international companies to invest in Madhya Pradesh.

Discussion on investment and cooperation with Green Energy-3000

At the Madhya Pradesh State Lounge in Davos, Minister Shri Shukla discussed in detail the possibilities of investment and cooperation in the renewable energy sector with the German company Green Energy-3000 Project Management LLC. The company’s Managing Directors Mr. Felix Ranker and Mr. Andreas Ranker were present in the meeting. Company representatives took information about renewable energy projects of Madhya Pradesh and discussed various aspects.

Green Energy-3000’s expertise in EPC, financing and equity investments

Green Energy-3000 representatives presented their company as an integrated renewable energy developer. He informed about the company’s capabilities in EPC services, project financing and equity investments. It also shared global projects and experiences conducted through partners in Europe, the Middle East and India.

Further action plan: Dialogue on tenders and participation

Additional Chief Secretary New and Renewable Energy Shri Manu Srivastava provided details of recently concluded renewable energy tenders in Madhya Pradesh to Green Energy-3000. This will help the company understand potential participation opportunities in future tenders, project structures and bidding processes. The meeting reflects the state government’s efforts towards accelerating clean energy investments and strengthening global cooperation.

Brainstorming on water-energy based projects with Peace Invest

New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri Shukla held a meeting with Geneva-based Peace Invest Chief Investment Officer Shri Yusuf Merchant and discussed the possibilities of sustainable development based investment in water and energy sector. Peace Invest is known for promoting human-centered development through impact-based investing in the Global South.

Focus on co-investment model in water and clean energy

Minister Shri Shukla shared the renewable energy achievements of Madhya Pradesh and informed about investment opportunities in water and energy based sustainable projects. They also discussed the possibilities of pursuing clean energy and water management projects through co-investment model.

Policy, investment climate and future projects

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Raghavendra Singh and Commissioner Public Relations Shri Deepak Saxena were also present in the meeting. Officials shared information related to the state’s investment-friendly policies, strong administrative framework and future projects. Both sides agreed to continue dialogue on cooperation in sustainable and impact-based projects in the fields of water and energy.
