In the video, a woman is seen arguing with the officer. The TTE alleged that the women not only abused them but also threw hot tea on them during the fight. He asks the other passengers what the women said. At this, other passengers confirm that the women had abused them. At the same time, women also accuse TTE of assault. The TTE also alleges that ‘this girl threw hot tea on me’ and shows a girl with women in the video. During this time other passengers support the TTE. However, women are heard denying anything like this happened.

What action was taken?

According to reports, two women and a girl traveling in a sleeper coach on a general ticket were later deboarded at Barabanki station. But, all three of them boarded the same coach again and when the train reached Charbagh railway station, they were deboarded again. The report said that a complaint has been lodged against him in Charbagh GRP and an FIR has also been filed.

Earlier last week, in a video shot by a TTE, a mother-daughter traveling without tickets in an AC coach was heard arguing with the TTE and using caste-related abuses when asked for a ticket. In another video, a teacher from Odisha was seen arguing with a TTE. Reports show that in recent times, the number of women passengers traveling in AC coaches without tickets or on local tickets has increased significantly.
