Taking benefit of government schemes, she started working as BC Sakhi. Today his monthly earnings have reached Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. Employment provided by micro enterprises – help of PANI program

HDFC Bank’s People’s Action for National Integration (PANI) program has launched the Holistic Rural Development Program (HRDP) in Ayodhya. Under this scheme, groups of women were formed and they were given assistance in setting up micro enterprises. This has provided a means of livelihood to many poor families of Amaniganj block. These businesses have increased decision making ability and self-confidence among women.

Kranti Didi- New example of women empowerment

Kranti Didi of Avadhpuri women self-help group in Hajipur Singhpur village of Masoudha block of Ayodhya district is emerging as a new inspiring example. She expanded her livelihood by taking a loan of Rs 50,000 from CCL and worked towards providing employment to local women. Women are getting loans and other facilities through self-help groups, which is strengthening their economic condition.

Earn money by making tricolor on Independence Day

Women self-help groups prepared 2.5 lakh national flags during the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign in Ayodhya. 1080 women from 300 self-help groups of the district together made these tricolor flags, which were hoisted on government buildings on Independence Day. The income of Rs 20 per tricolor not only provided economic strength to women but also presented an excellent example of women empowerment.
