PM Modi Dinner With Women Cricket Team: India’s World Cup winning women’s cricket team is going to have dinner with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday. After creating history on 2nd November, now this meeting is going to take place in Delhi on the evening of 5th November. The team has reached the capital by a special flight from Mumbai and now all the players are excited to meet PM Modi. After winning the World Cup, the Prime Minister congratulated the team on social media platform X (Twitter) and wrote, ‘Great victory for the Indian team! His performance in the final was full of amazing skill and confidence. The team showed exceptional teamwork and tenacity throughout the tournament. This historic victory will inspire the coming generations in sports.

Winning moments of Team India in PM House

After winning the World Cup, every player of Team India has become the pride of the country. This team, which defeated South Africa by 52 runs in the final, is now receiving congratulations from the entire country. Before dinner, Team India players have made a special plan. All-rounder Deepti Sharma said, ‘We all are thinking what gift to give to Prime Minister Modi from the team, our jersey or a signed bat.’ Before this, there is an atmosphere of celebration in the entire country on the team’s victory. BCCI also left no stone unturned in celebrating this historic victory. The board has announced a cash reward of Rs 51 crore for Team India, support staff and selection committee. Daughters shine in World Cup final

On Sunday, November 2, India won the World Cup by defeating South Africa in the final at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Batting first, India scored 298 runs for 7 wickets. Shefali Verma scored 87 runs and also took 2 wickets, she was adjudged ‘Player of the Final’. After playing an inning of 58 runs, Deepti Sharma did wonders with the ball and took 5 wickets and became the ‘Player of the Tournament’. Smriti Mandhana (45) and Richa Ghosh (34) also took the team to a strong score. South African captain Laura Wolvaardt scored 101 runs, but the team collapsed to 246 in front of the brilliant spells of Deepti and Shefali.
