‘Queens on the Wheels’ women’s biking tour started in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav flagged off 25 women bikers for a journey of 1400KM. This tour will promote tourist places like Sanchi, Khajuraho, Gwalior and Kuno National Park.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is continuously progressing under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Along with the country, Madhya Pradesh is also safe. The ‘Queens on the Wheels’ women’s biking tour, launched ahead of Women’s Day and Rangpanchami, will promote safe and clean tourism in the state. The Chief Minister said that through this tour, women bike riders from across the country will play an important role in giving a new identity to the tourist places of the state. This initiative will become a symbol of courage, confidence and inspiration for the daughters of Madhya Pradesh.

1400 kilometer women’s biking tour from 7 to 13 March

25 experienced women bike riders from different states of the country have participated in the third edition of ‘Queens on the Wheels’. There are participants from many states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. This women’s biking tour will run from March 7 to March 13, in which the participants will cover a distance of about 1400 kilometers. The objective of this yatra is to promote the tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh and to increase enthusiasm for adventure sports among women.

Chief Minister interacted with women riders and youth

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off this biking tour in a program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. During the programme, women bike riders shared their experiences with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also interacted with the youth promoting tourism of Madhya Pradesh on social media and also got a group photo clicked with them.

‘Queens on the Wheels’ tour will pass through these major tourist places of Madhya Pradesh

The Chief Minister said that this initiative of the state government will help in giving a new direction to the tourism of the state. This biking journey will pass through many historical and famous tourist places of Madhya Pradesh.

During the journey, the women riders will visit these major places:

  • Sanchi Stupa
  • Udayagiri Caves
  • Chanderi
  • Khajuraho Group of Monuments
  • Kuno National Park
  • Gwalior
  • Mitawali Temple
  • Orcha

The Chief Minister said that the simplicity of Nimar, the liveliness of Malwa, the bravery story of Bundelkhand, the folk arts of Baghelkhand, the glorious history of Chambal and the natural beauty of Mahakaushal make Madhya Pradesh special.

Experienced women bikers and special security arrangements

The Chief Minister said that all the women riders included in this biking team are very experienced. He appealed to all the participants to take special care of safety during the journey. Instructions have been given by the state government to the district administration that wherever this team reaches, proper arrangements will be made for their stay and other facilities.

Initiative to promote women safety and tourism

The aim of the state government is to promote clean, safe and religious tourism through this campaign. Through this journey, women bikers will spread the cultural heritage, natural beauty and tourism possibilities of Madhya Pradesh to the country and the world. Higher Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar was also present in the program.
