WITT Summit 2026: From politics to sports, Day 2 unites assembly of stellar participants for ‘India & The World’ theme

New Delhi: The signature thought fest that puts India first, ‘What India Thinks Today Summit 2026’ is back with its fourth edition. Scheduled for 23-24 March, 2026, at the nation’s capital, the highlight of the summit will be the keynote address delivered by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, his third time gracing the stage of TV9’s signature ideas carnival.

A spate of luminaries on attendance

TV9 Network’s ‘What India Thinks Today Summit 2026’ is back with the aim to capture India at a moment of economic ambition, political churn, technological change, and social reflection. With the theme ‘India & The World’, the summit looks to draw a blueprint for the developed India with an assembly of top thinkers, business leaders, and civil society champions.

Day 2 of the summit is consistent with the exemplary tradition of the ‘What India Think Today Summit’, with a spate of powerful voices coming together from diverse fields, relevant to the Indian growth story. 

The day starts with addresses from top political voices of the country, in unmissable conversations highlighting India and its place in today’s world order. Smriti Irani, Former Union Minister for Women & Child Development and Minister, leads the day in this regard. She will then be followed by two Members of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Akhilesh Yadav and Asaduddin Owaisi respectively. This sets the tone for the event, insights into ‘India & The World’.

The start of the second day of the summit is filled with political voices, with unique perspectives on India’s growth story. Boardroom legend Prof. Ram Charan comes next in this regard, who would be followed by Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister for Communications & Development of North Eastern Region. Reuven Azar, Israel’s Ambassador to India then takes the stage, consistent with the ‘India & The World’ theme of the Summit.

Following such illuminating political conversation, we then have two young cricketers share their thoughts, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh. This is followed by yet another address by a Union Minister, this time Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal. Keeping the momentum of thought-provoking political dialogues going, we have Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab next. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and D. K. Shivakumar, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka will also deliver remarks, all surrounding the event’s ‘India & The World’ theme.

The remarks by the state ministers occurs with an interlude with one of India’s biggest sporting stars, Sourav Ganguly which is then followed by an appearance by Kumar Vishwas, distinguished Hindi poet, known for his extremely articulate and unique voice. Cricketers Deepti Sharma, World Cup winning team member and Aavishkar Salvi, women’s team bowling coach then follow up, in what is slated to be one of the biggest and most influential thought festivals of its kind, TV9 Network’s ‘What India Think Today Summit 2026’.
