People often like to plant the curry leaves used in the kitchen in pots, but the only complaint is that the plant is not dense, due to which less leaves are available. However, don’t worry now, just by doing 2 small tasks the plant will become as dense as a forest.

Curry leaves, curry leaves or sweet neem, this plant known by different names is very useful. It not only enhances the taste and flavor of food but also has many medicinal benefits. Due to high demand, people plant curry leaves in pots so that they can use fresh curry leaves when needed.

But many times people complain that the curry leaves planted in their pots do not grow properly and the color of the leaves also starts fading. However, you need not worry now, by using the gardener’s tricks, you can grow curry leaves as thick as a forest during the rainy season. The gardener told 2 small tasks

Content creator Babita Maurya, who runs a YouTube and Instagram channel by the name of Plants with Babita, shares tips related to gardening. He has claimed that you can make curry leaves thick in just 15 days. For this, the first task will be pruning of the plant and second will be to apply liquid fertilizer.

First task- pruning

First of all, cut some branches of curry leaves, for this use scissors or pruning cutter and cut the upper part of the branches. Actually, by pruning, new branches emerge and the plant becomes dense. Pruning is best done during the rainy season, when the plant grows rapidly. However, keep in mind that you have to cut only weak and old branches.

Which liquid fertilizer to apply?

Babita Maurya has described curd as perfect for fertilizing curry leaves during the rainy season. Because the good bacteria and nutrients present in curd improve the quality of the soil. Due to this, the nutrients of the soil easily reach the roots of the plants and help in increasing the growth of the plant.

The second task is to apply fertilizer like this.

You have to take one spoon of sour curd, if the curd is not sour then leave it for 4 to 5 days and then use it. According to the trick given by the gardener, dissolve curd in half liter of water. Pour this solution into curry leaf soil. You can repeat this process once every day.
