The government has presented a strong model of planned development through the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). This industrial area spread over an area of more than 3000 square kilometers is being developed in two phases. Here industrial, residential, commercial and mixed land use has been clearly planned, which has enabled effective control of unplanned urbanization.

It has been the clear intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that development should not be limited only to big cities, but should also reach the surrounding districts and rural areas.
