Shreya Kalra has described her victory in Lock Upp 2 as a deeply personal achievement while also crediting her family and supporters for standing by her throughout the competition. After winning the reality show, she shared a series of photographs featuring herself with the trophy and reflected on the journey that led her to the finale.

In her message, Shreya said the achievement was not hers alone. She acknowledged the people who continued to support her, encouraged her and remained with her during both difficult and rewarding phases of the show.
The actress and reality television contestant said her victory represented the sacrifices, emotional moments, challenges and comebacks she experienced during her time in the competition. She also stressed that she entered the show determined to follow her own approach rather than change herself to suit the game.
Shreya said she remained committed to playing on her own terms and staying genuine throughout the season. Her message after the finale expressed gratitude towards her family, supporters and everyone who stood behind her during the competition.
Shivangi Joshi finishes as first runner-up
Shreya secured the title on August 5, bringing the second season of Lock Upp to its conclusion. Television actress Shivangi Joshi finished as the first runner-up, while Yogesh Rawat claimed the second runner-up position.
The finale also came after the elimination of two prominent contestants, Ram Kapoor and Shilpa Shinde. Both were considered strong participants during the season but were eliminated shortly before the final stage of the competition.
Lock Upp 2 featured 14 inmates
The second edition of Lock Upp ran for six weeks and featured 14 inmates, along with two jailers. The format once again revolved around contestants living within the show’s lock-up environment while competing in tasks and challenges.
Contestants were required to earn in-game currency through various tasks. The currency was used to obtain basic necessities, including food and supplies, as well as certain privileges available inside the competition.
The season was hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, who guided the contestants through the different stages of the reality show.
Shreya Kalra’s journey in entertainment
Shreya, who hails from Indore, began gaining wider recognition after appearing on MTV’s Roadies in 2020. She entered the show as a wildcard contestant and was part of Nikhil Chinapa’s team.
She later expanded her presence in the entertainment industry through music videos. One of her notable appearances was in the song Zariya Tu, where she featured alongside actor Paras Kalnawat.
Her Lock Upp 2 victory marks another significant chapter in her career, giving her greater visibility following her earlier reality television appearance.
