Wimbledon 2025: Royal attendance confirmed, here’s who will be there

New Delhi: Wimbledon season is here, and it’s not just tennis fans who are excited. This year, fans can expect to see the Duchess of Gloucester making his way to the All England Club for what is set to be an exciting fortnight of tennis. The Duchess is the Honorary President of the Lawn Tennis Association and is tipped to attend Wimbledon on day eight, before returning for the semifinals on July 11.

Not only that, but she will also join the President’s Lunch during the first week, making it three appearances at SW19 this year.

Birgitte was born in Denmark and married Prince Richard, who is the late Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin, in 1972. She also made history earlier this year when she became the first non-blood royal not married to the monarch or the heir to be made a Royal Lady of the Garter, reflecting her dedication and service.
