New Delhi: Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic makes it through to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the sixteenth time. He bounced back from 4-1 in the fourth set to seal the victory in a tight match.
The Australian Alex de Minaur started off well as he took the first set 6-1. But the Serbian got his cylinders on fire to win crucial break points and win the next three sets 6-4 each.

Djokovic described the match as a “cat-and-mouse” battle, acknowledging de Minaur as the quickest player on tour. He admitted he came into the contest feeling a bit nervous, having never faced de Minaur on grass before.
He said, “I wish I had Federer’s serve and volley touch, that would help. I can’t complain, I still have to run a lot. I tried to mix it up as I didn’t feel the ball well but I started to feel it as the game went on.”
“It’s probably the first time he’s watched me and I won the match.”
