ODI World Cup 2011 It has been 15 years since India won the title. On April 2, 2011, India wore the world champion title for the second time at the Wankhede ground in Mumbai under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. With that, Sachin Tendulkar’s dream of winning the World Cup was also fulfilled. India won that World Cup with complete team effort. Most of the players had achievements associated with their names. But the world record that Yuvraj Singh achieved has not been broken till date. The question is, will that record be broken in the ODI World Cup 2027?
Sachin’s 15 year old feeling in Team India’s new jersey
On completion of 15 years of winning the ODI World Cup 2011, Sachin Tendulkar has shared a video, in which he is seen in his 15 years old style in the new jersey of Team India. Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his feeling of playing the first ball in the final of ODI World Cup 2011 through the video shared. While sharing the video, he wrote that the first ball always increases the heartbeat… and that night, if this happened, it meant that the heartbeat never stopped. Here, that night means the night before the final.
Sachin further wrote that even after 15 years, that moment is close to his heart. He told how as a team all the players had only one dream – to win the World Cup for India. He has wholeheartedly thanked all the players, support staff and fans involved in the journey of winning the title of ODI World Cup 2011.
The first ball always makes your heart race and that night, it never stopped.
15 years later, it still stays with us. We all grew up as a bunch of young cricketers, united by one dream. To win the World Cup for India.

Will Yuvraj’s record be broken in ODI World Cup 2027?
Now the question is who will break Yuvraj Singh’s record in next year’s ODI World Cup? First of all, know what is the record of Yuvraj Singh? India’s legendary all-rounder had made that record in the World Cup won in 2011. Because of that he was also chosen Player of the Tournament. That record of Yuvraj Singh as an all-rounder is related to scoring 300 plus runs and taking 15 wickets. Yuvraj Singh is the only player in the history of the World Cup who has done this. He scored 362 runs at an average of 90.5 in the ODI World Cup 2011. Also took 15 wickets in bowling.
After India won the 2011 World Cup, three more World Cups passed but Yuvraj Singh’s record remains the same. Now it remains to be seen whether the record which was not broken in the ODI World Cup of 2015, 2019 and 2023, will be broken in the ODI World Cup 2027?
