It is being said that Pakistan team management and coach are not happy with the performance of Salman Aga and are thinking of removing him from the captaincy. The team management is in a mood to make Shadab Khan the captain in place of Salman Aga.

But, now there is news of selector Azhar Ali’s resignation. According to Geo News, Azhar Ali had submitted his resignation on November 18 itself. However, no official statement has come out from PCB regarding this yet. It is believed that the reason for the resignation of Azhar Ali, who has been selecting the Pakistan team for the last 12 months, is the growing stature of Sarfaraz Ahmed within the PCB. PCB has given Sarfaraz Ahmed the important responsibility of fixing Pakistan Shaheen and Under 19 set-up and this is the reason for the latest rift.
