RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna reacted to the results of the Vice Presidential election and said that congratulations to the winner, but they should protect the constitution by taking both power and the opposition together. Tejashwi made it clear that there was no cross voting in his party and all the MPs remained united. He said, “Congratulations to those who have won in the Vice Presidential elections. We hope that they will take both the ruling and the opposition along, protect the constitution, will run the Parliament according to the law … The opposition raises the voice of the people, tells the deficiencies of the government, so we hope that there will be no bias … We have not had any side (cross voting), we have voted in one side.”
