Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra, who is set to participate in Karan Johar’s The Traitors, has made some big revelations about the popular IPL team, the Rajasthan Royals.
The business tycoon, who initially won the team, announced that he will be releasing documented evidence. The proofs will expose serious financial misconduct and money laundering through offshore structures, which involve the key promoter of the IPL team. With a ‘Karma Bol’ poster, Raj Kumdra wrote a long post on LinkedIn.
Raj Kundra wrote, “Karma Bol. I will soon be releasing documented evidence exposing serious financial misconduct, money laundering through offshore structures and hidden transactions involving a key promoter of the Rajasthan Royals.”
He added the statements with some pointers, “This includes: Willful suppression of co-promoter rights and entitlements, Pattern of deceit and manipulation in shareholder dealings. In another post, Kundra shared that he will be holding a press conference on Monday, June 2. The location will be shared by his PR team. Well, this revelation sparked a controversy related to the team’s promoter.
In 2019, Raj Kundra acquired a 11.7 per cent stake in Rajasthan Royals. As per reports, Raj and Shilpa invested USD 15.4 million for their share in the franchise. The professional association came to an end after he was banned from any activities related to cricket following he was found guilty in the 2013 IPL betting scandal.
On the other hand, Raj Kundra will be next seen in Karan Johar’s reality show The Traitors. It is slated to release on Prime Video on June 12.
