A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Madhotal police station area of Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Here, a husband brutally murdered his wife on suspicion of affair. At night, the wife got up from the bed and went somewhere.
Looking at him, the husband saw that she was sleeping in a semi -fingered state in the field, which deepened her suspicion. In anger, he brutally murdered him with an ax and pole lying on the spot and threw the body in a sari and threw it into the drain.
The incident is from village Mangela, where the police and FSL team reached the spot on the information of the body. The deceased wife came to Mangela to work as a laborer and was a resident of village Bhavarda, Thana Bijdandi, District Mandla. On May 11, 2025, at around 2 pm, the village sarpanch Arjun Singh Chadar was informed by Upsarpanch Munim Kumar Kushwaha that the body of a woman was lying near the Mangeli crematorium.
Head and chest bruises
The police team immediately reached the spot. The woman had severe injuries on her head and chest. The body was wrapped in a sari and thrown into the drain. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay, Municipal Superintendent of Police B.S. An investigation was conducted on the spot along with Gothria and FSL officer Dr. Ajay Singh. The deceased was identified by his cousin Rambati Kunjam, on the basis of which a case of murder was registered in Madhotal police station and investigation was started.
In the investigation, the needle of suspicion went towards the deceased’s husband Shivkumar Varkade. Police took him into custody and strictly questioned him. During interrogation, he confessed the crime and told that he and his wife had come to Mangela village for wages. His wife used to talk to other people by laughing, due to which he was often angry and doubted his character.

On the night of May 10, the two ate food together and fell asleep. At night, his wife got up from the bed and went somewhere. Looking at him, the husband saw that she was sleeping in a field in a field, which deepened her suspicion. In anger, he brutally murdered him with an ax and pole lying on the spot and threw the body in a sari and threw it into the drain. The police arrested the accused Shivkumar and produced it in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.
