Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected in India’s Under 19 team for this tournament to be held in Dubai. And, perhaps this is the reason why Bihar team remained out of the match against Uttar Pradesh in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
U19 Asia Cup became the reason for being out
Vaibhav Suryavanshi had to join the Indian team and start preparations for the Under-19 Asia Cup, which became a major reason for his exclusion from the Bihar team. Apart from this, Team Vaibhav will also have to leave for Dubai with the team for the tournament.
India will start its campaign against UAE on the very first day in the Under-19 Asia Cup starting from 12 December 2025. After that there is a high-voltage match between India and Pakistan on 14 December. This will be Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s second Under 19 Asia Cup. Before this, he had played this tournament last year also.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi had scored 176 runs with 12 sixes and 15 fours in 5 matches played in the Under-19 Asia Cup last year. He also made his debut for India’s Under-19 team in the same tournament.
