The studio of ‘Bigg Boss Kannada 12’ is closing due to violation of environmental regulations. The Karnataka Pollution Control Board has given this order. Due to release of dirty water on the studio without treatment, it will be sealed and cut.
The most popular reality show of Kannada cinema ‘Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12’ is currently in trouble. In fact, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has issued an order to close the studio hosting the show with immediate effect due to violation of environmental standards. The board has sent a notice to Messrs Jolly Wood Studios and Entertainment, alleging that they left the dirty water directly out without treatment at the sewage treatment plant, which is a direct violation of environmental rules.
What is the whole matter?
Now citing various orders of the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the deputy commissioner of Ramnagar has been instructed to seal the studio and Basecom has been ordered to close his power immediately. Messrs Jolly Wood Studios and Entertainment, who is running an amusement park and studio at Bidadi Industrial Estate in Ramnagar district on the outskirts of Bangalore, is now under investigation due to violation of environmental rules. During several inspections several times, the Regional Officer (RO) of the Ramnagar Pollution Control Board (RO) found that this entertainment park was constructed without the permission of the board.
Although a 250 KLD capacity sewage treatment plant (STP) was installed in the park premises, the dirty water coming out of various parts of the park was being released out without treatment, causing environmental pollution to the surrounding areas. Apart from this, two diesel generators were installed in the studio without permission, which has also revealed the problem of nice pollution.

In addition, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has come to know that Entertainment Park did not take the approval of the Forest Department and the police for its establishment. Because of this, KSPCB has asked the basecom to stop the power of the studio and entertainment park. At the same time, the Deputy Commissioner of Ramnagar has been tasked to seal the entire studio campus.
