New Delhi: Haryanvi singer and dancer Sapna Choudhary, who rose to national fame after her appearance on Bigg Boss 11, recently revealed that she would never show her old dance videos to her children. The performer, who’s currently promoting her upcoming biopic Madam Sapna, spoke candidly about her early years, the evolution of her performances, and how motherhood has changed her perspective on dance and fame.
In a recent podcast interview, a clip of which has gone viral on her fan page, Sapna was seen reflecting on her early career and the kind of performances that made her a household name in North India.
Sapna Choudhary says she will never show her videos to her kids
“I can’t show my old dance videos to my kids because, at that time, I used to dance with a lot of energy,” she said. The singer added that in those days, she wasn’t aware of what limits should be maintained during live shows. “Back then, I didn’t even know what the limit of a dance step was. But now I’ve learnt to set limits,” Sapna shared.
The Teri Aakhya Ka Yo Kajal star explained how her understanding of stage performance has evolved over time. “If I overdo any step, it looks very bad on screen. But if I perform the same step within limits, it looks beautiful,” she said. She added with a smile, “I’m human too. I’ll make mistakes — only then will I learn.”
