Women’s World Cup 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interactions with athletes often become memorable moments. Be it Olympians or cricketers, PM Modi has always considered it important to meet Indian players before or after big global events. On Wednesday, 5 November, the Prime Minister met the Indian cricket team that won the Women’s World Cup at his residence. This meeting took place in a fun and light-hearted atmosphere, where PM Modi and the players talked not only about cricket but also about life outside the field. During this, team player Harleen Deol also asked PM Modi the secret of his glowing face. To which Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a brilliant reply.

All the players laughed at this. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I did not pay much attention to this subject. This is the love of crores of countrymen. I have been in the government for 25 years. This is a long time. Even after that, when so many blessings are received, it leaves an impact.”
During this, Indian women’s team head coach Amol Majumdar said that Sir, have you seen how the questions come? There are different characters, it has been two years since I have been their head coach. Hair has turned white. PM Modi started laughing at this.

PM Modi made this appeal to the players
During this, PM Modi also appealed to the players to visit their respective schools and talk to the students. He said that when you go back home, there will obviously be a lot of happiness and excitement, but after a few days, go to the school where you studied and spend a day with the children. They will ask you a lot of questions.
He further said that I think that school and those children will remember you for the rest of your life. With India winning the World Cup ICC Women’s ODI World Cup Australia joined England and New Zealand as champions. Before this, Team India had reached the finals of this mega tournament twice, but had to face defeat both times.
