Why did Apoorva Mukhija move to NYC?
Apoorva recently appeared on AminJaz’s YouTube channel, and that’s where she spoke about not living in India anymore and moving to NYC. The video was shot when she had two days left in India before moving, so on the podcast she can be seen saying that she will be ‘moving in 2 days’, and that’s when the host clarified that by the time the podcast releases, she already will be in NYC.
She went on to add that she has travelled a lot and the time she landed in New York for the first time, it felt so good that she wanted to live there. She then said that the place is so fast-paced and everyone there is well dressed, and so the architecture is also top-notch. Rebel also mentioned how she has seen New York in almost every single web show that she loves, so because of how much she loved the place, she applied to one college there, thinking that she would go if she got in, and she did.
She then went on to say that she is privileged and has great friends, a house, help 24/7, and her career has been on a good path too, but she is ready to leave everything and go be a student in NYC.
Rebel also admitted that the degree won’t be useful since she never wanted to do a typical job. She added how she can really start a business now if she wants to, so she is scared about making this decision but is glad since she gets to go to NYC and live where she wanted to live.

Most recently, Apoorva was seen on Lock Upp S2, and her short visit as an informer was loved by everyone. She was herself and brought in a lot of drama on the show that people could not stop watching. She was seen confronting people like Akanksha Choudhary, Varun Yadav, Ram Kapoor, and others and was also praised for taking Shreya Kalra and Shilpa Shinde’s side when the entire Lock Upp was against them.
