Tej Pratap Yadav Y Plus Security: Before the second phase of Bihar elections, the security of Tej Pratap Yadav, elder brother of Grand Alliance CM face Tejashwi Yadav and founder of Janashakti Janata Dal, has been increased. The central government has provided him Y plus category security. After the order of the Home Ministry, now he will be given cover by the CRPF security team. This security is given under VIP Protection List. Security agencies had recently assessed their security situation and submitted a special report to the Centre. On the basis of this report, a decision was taken to increase the security of Tej Pratap Yadav.
How is the security of Y-Plus category?
A total of 11 commandos are deployed in Y Plus Security. In this, 5 static police personnel remain for security in and around the VIP’s house, while 6 PSOs are deployed in three shifts for their cover. This arrangement has been made to protect Tej Pratap Yadav from any unexpected incident. This level of security is reserved for VIPs and important leaders of the state, so that there is no disruption in their daily routine and they can perform their responsibilities safely.
Why was the security of Tej Pratap Yadav increased?
Tej Pratap Yadav had recently visited the Election Commission. During this, he said that Shyam Kishore was given the symbol of his party, but he took support from Grand Alliance and VIP President Mukesh Sahni without asking. After this incident, Tej Pratap had demanded from the Central Government to increase security. He clarified that the security situation in Bihar can be volatile at any time and unexpected incidents can happen at any time. For this reason he has been given Y plus security.
From where is Tej Pratap Yadav contesting elections?
Tej Pratap Yadav is currently in the political race from Mahua seat in Bihar Assembly elections 2025. Regarding the election strategy, he said that his party will go with any government which will provide employment, stop migration and work to bring real change in Bihar. This statement is being considered as an indication of a possible alliance in political circles.
