According to estimates, there will be around 14,390 road accidents involving drunk driving in 2024, resulting in more than 6,500 deaths. At the same time, according to the Road Transport Ministry, 9,143 alcohol-related accidents and 3,674 deaths were recorded in 2023 alone. These figures show that this problem is not limited to any one city or state.
