Preparations are now underway for the fourth match of the ongoing five-Test series between India and England, which will be played in Manchester from Wednesday. India is trailing 1-2 in the series and the team may have to make some important changes to win this match. A big question is who will get a chance in the playing eleven in place of Andhra Pradesh all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Nitish Reddy has scored 45 runs and taken three wickets in two Test matches so far. Although he showed some brilliance in the Lord’s Test, he may have to sit out due to lack of consistent impressive performance. Three names are in the forefront to replace him:

1. shardul thakurThere will be replacements

Shardul Thakur is an experienced all-rounder and is considered the most suitable to replace Nitish Reddy. However, he did not contribute much with the bat in the Headingley Test and was not made to bowl many overs. Still, he is a strong contender in terms of experience and utility.

2. Anshul Kamboj– Youthful vigour and all-round ability

Haryana fast bowler Anshul Kamboj was recently called up as a cover for the team. He has performed well in domestic cricket and also scored a half-century while playing for India ‘A’ against England Lions. If India wants to give a chance to young players, then Kamboj can be given a debut.

3. Strategy of Dhruv Jurel and Anshul Kamboj
