Robert Redford Deat: American actor, director and producer Robert Redford Jr. has passed away. He breathed his last at the age of 89. As soon as the news of his death came in the media on 16 September 2025, every person who knew him from Hollywood to Bollywood drowned in mourning. On Tuesday morning, Robert Redford Junior spokesman Cindy Barber confirmed the news of his death. It is being told that at night he slept in his house in Utah’s Provo and then could not get up in the morning. However, no more details have been revealed in this case.

Remembering Robert Redford Junior, Bollywood star Anil Kapoor wrote on social media, “Robert Redford’s soul should be peaceful. Robert Redford Junior was named Charliz Robert Redford Junior. He was born on 18 August 1936 in Santa Monica, California. He was recognized as an actor in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1960, he stepped into films and in 1969 his film ‘The Sting’ won the Oscar Award for Best Film. Later he appeared in great films like ‘The Great Gatsbi’, ‘The Last Castle’ and ‘The Discovery’. In 1980, he received the Oscar of the Best Director of ‘Ordinary People’ and the 2002 Honori Oscar Award. At the BAFTA Awards in 1970, he was nominated as the best actor for ‘Buch Cassidi and Sunandan Kid’, ‘Tail Dem Willi Boy Is Hear’ and ‘Downhill Racer’ and he was elected the best actor for ‘Buch Cassidy and Sunndens Kid’.
