Duncan told Hindu Gods false
Alexander Duncan wrote on the social media handle x, “Why are we allowing a false idol of a false Hindu God to be a Christian nation in Texas?” He also posted a video of the idol located in Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple in Sugar Land city of Texas. Duncan, the leader of President Donald Trump’s party, cited the Bible, saying, “You should not believe in any other deity other than me. You should not make any kind of idol or an image of anything in the sky, earth or sea for yourself.”

People furious over Duncan’s comment
Duncan’s comment had a sharp response on social media. The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) described this statement as “anti -Hindu and inflammatory”. The group also formally informed the Republican Party in Texas about the incident and urged them to resolve the matter. The Hindu American Foundation posted, “Namaste @Texasgop, will you teach your party’s Senate candidate to live in discipline, which is showing anti -Hindu hatred by openly violating your guidelines against discrimination.
