During the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Jammu and Kashmir, a video of a girl is going viral on social media, in which she is emotional and says- ‘Love you Shah ji’. This girl is a resident of Poonch district and recently from an area affected by Pakistani firing.
Who is Jaskiran Kaur? Jaskiran belongs to a Kashmiri Sikh family and is a local resident of Poonch. In an interview given to ANI, he told how he and the people of the area met Home Minister Shah and told their circumstances. Jaskiran said, ‘We told them who was harmed in the firing by Pakistan. We sincerely hope that he will definitely help us.
“Nice to meet Shah ji” – Jaskiran Kaur Jaskiran said that ‘Poonch has suffered a lot of damage. There are no bunkers, medical facilities are negligible. We are living in an atmosphere of fear, yet did not give up. Jaskiran told the media, ‘As soon as we came to know that Shah Ji Geetabhavan is coming to the gurudwara, we were waiting for him since morning. It was very nice to meet him. He listened to our everything with patience. His behavior was very simple and intimate. ‘ He also added that ‘we were with the Indian Army and will always be. I am confident that PM Modi, Shah Sir and BJP government will fulfill the promises made for us. 
Home Minister’s visit to Poonch and dialogue with the public On 30 May 2025, Amit Shah visited the border areas of Poonch. He met the families damaged by the firing after ‘Operation Sindoor’ and assured them of relief. Shah was also accompanied by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha. He also handed over appointment letters to the victims.
