He has joined the party with his two sons. On this occasion, many workers of Annasahebdange also joined the party. Dange and his son took membership of BJP in the presence of CM Devendra Fadnavis and state president Ravindra Chavan in Mumbai.
The return of Annasaheb Dange of BJP in Maharashtra politics has strengthened BJP. Along with this, this is being considered a big blow for Sharad Pawar. This is because when Dange left BJP 23 years ago, he chose Sharad Pawar’s side.

Dange returns with his sons after 23 years
Former minister Annasaheb Dange has returned to BJP with his two sons Chiman Dange and Vishwanath Dange. During this time, hundreds of workers were also present with him. Annasaheb played a big role in strengthening BJP and capturing power in Maharashtra. When the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government came to power in the state for the first time in 1995-99, Dange was a cabinet minister. RSS-affiliated Dange left BJP 23 years ago in 2002 and joined the undivided NCP led by Sharad Pawar.
Who is Annasaheb Dange?
Annasaheb Dange started his political journey by working for Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). While working for the Sangh, he had joined the membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Dange has worked on many posts while in the party. During the year 1995, he was the Rural Development Minister and has also been the Guardian Minister of Sangli district. Annasaheb Dange is considered a prominent leader of Dhangar society.
On Wednesday, Dange said, “I feel fortunate to be back in the party. I had left the party 23 years ago because I was feeling suppressed.” Now I will work hard for the rise and development of BJP.
