Ramya wrote, It is like reading a book on the most boring subject, whose chapters never end and there comes a time when your mind gives up and starts laughing in despair at this ‘atrocity’ happening in front of you. If you really want to see it, do yourself a favor. Don’t waste your time or money in the theater. This is pure content that makes you ‘pause, turn on your phone and question your life decisions’. It is best to watch it on streaming platforms, where you can stream it in just one click.
Taunt on Ranveer Singh’s performance
Ramya also humorously targeted Ranveer Singh’s acting in the film. He wrote, “People are saying that Ranveer has carried the film on his shoulders, but I could only see his hair in the entire film.” He further said that in the first part, his hair had a distinct identity, but this time they were only seen blocking the scene. He even sarcastically said that Ranveer Singh’s hair should be nominated for ‘Best Supporting Role’.

According to Ramya, there are many scenes in the film which are beyond logic. Giving an example, he said that a character, even after having both his legs amputated and kerosene poured on his body, speaks dialogues as if he is in a “Ted Talk”. He sarcastically wrote that it seems as if the film was released in a hurry without much thought. He sarcastically said that such a scene should not get an Oscar but a Nobel Prize.
Objection to violence and use of weapons
Ramya also criticized the excessive violence shown in the film. He described the film as a ‘visual handbook of weapons’, in which even common objects like syringes and spanners have been used as weapons.
Advice given on jingoism and propaganda
Ramya described Dhurandhar 2 as a ‘huge disappointment’ and a ‘boring’ film. He advised director Aditya Dhar that now is the time to get out of jingoism and propaganda. He also told Ranveer Singh that he is a much better actor than such films.
