Tejasvi Singh Dahiya is a 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter from Delhi who will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026. He was signed for Rs 3 crore by the three-time champions in the IPL 2026 auction on Tuesday (December 16).
Tejasvi entered his name in the IPL 2026 auction at a base price of Rs 30 lakh.
Tejasvi has played six T20 matches so far and scored 113 runs with a strike rate of 168.65. His batting average in T20s is 56.50, and he has slammed 5 fours and 8 sixes so far.
Tejasvi was the fourth player signed by KKR in the IPL 2026 auction. Before him, KKR splashed Rs 25.20 crore to secure the services of Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. The 26-year-old all-rounder is the most expensive overseas player in IPL history.
After Green, KKR signed New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Finn Allen for Rs 2 crore and Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana for Rs 18 crore.

Two uncapped players signed by CSK for Rs 14.20 crore each
Chennai Super Kings signed Uttar Pradesh spin-bowling all-rounder Prashant Veer and Rajasthan’s wicketkeeper-batter Kartik Sharma for Rs 14.20 crore each in the IPL 2026 mini auction. They are the joint most expensive uncapped players in IPL history. Veer was the first player to be signed for Rs 14.20 crore by CSK in the IPL 2026 auction. Before Veer, the record of being the most expensive uncapped player in IPL history was in the name of Avesh Khan.
In the IPL 2022 mega auction, LSG signed Avesh for Rs 10 crore.
Apart from Veer and Kartik, Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler Aquib Nabi Dar was signed for Rs 8.40 crore by Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2026 auction.
No buyer so far for Shaw, Sarfaraz
