First he was presented in Sheopur court, from where the judge took the decision and sentenced him. Scam worth crores done in compensation of flood victims
In fact, Amita Singh Tomar was accused of large-scale rigging in the distribution of flood relief funds while she was the Tehsildar of Baroda in Sheopir district. She was the mastermind of this entire fraud. This big scam took place under his supervision. During investigation, it has come to light that Tehsildar Madam had prepared a fake list and pretended to give compensation to the people. These names were only on paper. In reality these people did not exist. In other words, by distributing compensation to fictitious names, they kept the money for themselves. More than 100 employees including 25 Patwaris involved

After this, many fictitious names were mentioned as flood victims. Amita Singh Tomar was absconding for several days. To avoid arrest, she had filed anticipatory bail petitions in the High Court and the Supreme Court. But he did not get any relief from anywhere.
