MP Board Topper Priyal Dwivedi: A historical step has been taken in the direction of education incentive in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that the state government will bear the entire expenditure of studies in Vellore of Technology (VIT) of MP Board Topper Priyal Dwivedi. - Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said at the Golden Sharda Scholarship-2025 distribution ceremony that the Madhya Pradesh government is constantly improving and investing in the field of education.
- The state’s per capita income was Rs 11,000 in 2002-03, which has now increased to Rs 1,52,000.
- In the last one and a half years, the area under irrigation has been increased by 7.5 lakh hectares.
- Many districts will get direct benefit from the river joint campaign.
- The 12th board plans to score more than 75% marks and to give laptops and scooty to first visitors in the school.

Why is Priyal Dwivedi’s story so special?
Priyal Dwivedi, a student of the Government Higher Secondary School in Amarpatan, secured first position in the state in the MP Board 12th examination. His wish was to study at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), but economic conditions stopped the way. On hearing this, the Chief Minister announced- “The state government will bear the entire expenditure of studies in Priyal’s VIT.”

- Priyal Dwivedi, who got first place in the state ₹ 1,00,000
- Priyal’s school was also awarded a check of ₹ 1,00,000.
