Who is India with amid Iran war? For the first time, PM Modi gave a direct answer, know – News Himachali News Himachali

Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress at the summit of a private news channel on Monday. He alleged that the UPA government took wrong decisions not out of concern for the country but out of concern for saving its own power.

PM Modi specifically mentioned the oil bonds issued during the UPA era, saying the Congress imposed a huge financial burden on future generations to maintain its power. While discussing the ongoing tension in the Middle East, PM Modi opened his cards and clearly told whose side he was with.

lashed out at Congress

The Prime Minister said that between 2004 and 2010, the Congress government had issued oil bonds worth Rs 1.48 lakh crore. He said that at that time the prices of petrol, diesel and gas were in crisis, but Congress was not worried about the country but about its own power. PM Modi quoted former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and said that he himself had admitted that this decision was wrong and it would burden the coming generations with debt.

Taking aim at those who were running the government through ‘remote control’, PM Modi said that those who were running the government from a distance took this wrong decision to save power, because there was no accountability at that time. He revealed that the repayment of these bonds started after 2020 and the total amount including interest exceeded Rs 3 lakh crore. He stressed that in the last 5-6 years, our government has worked to wash away this ‘sin’ of the Congress, the cost of which has not been less.

The world is divided into many groups

Speaking on the global scenario, the Prime Minister said that the world is divided into many factions, but India has built strong and broad partnerships. Despite conflicts in West Asia and constraints in energy supplies, India has forged reliable partnerships with everyone from the Gulf to the global West and South. He said that some people ask who are we with? My answer is- We are with India. We are with India’s interests, peace and dialogue.

PM Modi further said that the global supply chain is faltering, but India has presented a model of diversification and flexibility. The government has made continuous efforts to provide minimum hassles to the citizens in terms of energy, fertilizers and essential commodities. There have been continuous challenges since the Corona epidemic, but with the united efforts of 140 crore Indians, the country is overcoming every crisis.

Referring to the recent 23 days of turmoil, he said that even in a war-like situation, India has shown the strength of its diplomacy, decision-making ability and crisis management. The world is surprised by India’s policy and strategy. The Prime Minister emphasized that India is moving forward strongly with progress, development and confidence.
