Who was Humayun Kabir, sometimes in Congress and sometimes in BJP?

Humayun Kabir is a TMC MLA from Bharatpur district of West Bengal. 62 year old Kabir is a resident of Beldanga in Murshidabad district. He won the MLA election for the first time in 2011 on Congress ticket. But after just one year in 2012, he resigned from Congress due to internal discord. After this, he joined TMC in the year 2013 and for the first time, he was made a cabinet minister in the Mamata government. But even here he could not last long and after two years in 2015, he was suspended by TMC for 6 years. After this, he contested the elections as an independent candidate in 2016, but had to face defeat. Kabir joined BJP in 2018, where he also contested the Lok Sabha elections from Murshidabad on BJP ticket, but lost. Then contested the assembly elections in 2021 and won. But he then resigned from BJP and once again joined TMC.
