She is the mother of Barmore’s 2-year-old daughter and was reportedly seven weeks pregnant with their second child at the time the allegations were made. News reports generally withhold the name of the alleged victim in domestic violence cases to respect the privacy of the accuser, but the Attleboro (Massachusetts) District Court documents made Sloan’s name public.

Regarding the details of the assault, an argument over the apartment’s air conditioning and food escalated between Barmore and Sloan on August 8, 2025. Barmore allegedly took his baby mama, Sloan’s phone as she tried to call her mother during the alleged assault. When she attempted to leave the residence and call for help, Barmore allegedly grabbed her and threw her to the floor. Sloan provided photos to authorities that she said showed bruising as a result of the incident. She initially hesitated to press charges against the NFL star, but about a month later, in September 2025, she decided to move forward with the case.

Christian Barmore has not made a public statement regarding the domestic abuse allegations himself; however, his attorney, David Meier, released a statement asserting his client’s innocence. Barmore’s attorney stated, “We are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that no criminal conduct took place”. The lawyer described the situation as a “personal matter” that is expected to be resolved in the near future. However, the domestic abuse case filed by Sloan is far from over, as Christian Barmore is scheduled for arraignment on February 3, 2026, where he will formally enter a plea.

Recent reports in late December 2025 indicate that Christian Barmore’s lawyer expected the legal matter to be resolved soon and for “both parties will move forward together.” It suggests that the relationship between Baltmlre and Sloan might still be ongoing or, at the very least, was active on August 25, 2025, the date she called the police to report the alleged assault. Although the specifics regarding Sloan and Barmore’s dating timeline aren’t publicly available, she told the police that their relationship had been ongoing for “several years”.
