Important advice from NTA regarding JEE Main 2026 registration
NTA had issued a public notice for all the candidates on 29 September 2025. Its objective was to simplify the application process of JEE Main 2026 and to update correct information on time. NTA will collect name, date of birth, gender, photo and address from UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication. Since the name of father, mother or guardian is not recorded in Aadhaar, candidates will have to fill it in a separate online form. If the name on Aadhar card and name on 10th marksheet do not match, then its option will be available at the time of online application. For this, candidates can also see the public notice of NTA dated 06 November 2024. Before starting the application process, candidates are advised to keep all the documents and Aadhaar details ready so that there is no problem in filling the form.
