Mohan Charan Majhi: Due to heavy rains and bad weather, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi’s aircraft did not land at Bhubaneswar Airport, due to which it was sent to Kolkata.
The aircraft carrying Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi could not land at Bhubaneswar Airport due to bad weather. The aircraft kept hovering in the air for about 21 minutes, but due to bad weather, it had to be sent towards Kolkata. According to the information, CM Majhi was returning from Delhi and had to land at Bhubaneswar Airport. However, due to heavy rains and bad weather, the aircraft could not make safe landing.
CM’s aircraft could not land at Bhubaneswar Airport
Due to bad weather on Friday morning, CM Mohan Charan Majhi’s aircraft could not land at Bhubaneswar Airport. The aircraft kept hovering in the air for about 21 minutes but due to lack of weather, it had to be sent to Kolkata. According to media reports, CM Majhi was returning from Delhi from a five -day tour and was to land in Bhubaneswar at 9.45 am.

Teachers’ Day celebrations were postponed till 3 pm
Odisha Urban Development Minister K.K. C. Mahapatra said that due to bad weather, the aircraft could not land at Bhubaneswar Airport and was sent to Kolkata. Prasanna Pradhan, director of Biju Patnaik International Airport, said that the aircraft kept hovering over the airport for about 21 minutes amid heavy rains. Due to this incident, the state level Teacher’s Day celebrations have been postponed from 11.30 am to 3 pm.
