Bihar News: Bihar government has launched the Chief Minister’s Mahila Rojgar Yojana. To make a woman of every family an entrepreneur, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be given first and ₹ 2 lakh if needed. This benefit will be available to women associated with livelihood group.
Bihar Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has given a big gift to women. CM launched the Mahila Samman Yojana. Under this, women will be given financial assistance in employment. At the same time, the government has now released the guidelines of this scheme. In fact, with the aim of making women self -reliant and strengthening the financial condition of the family, the Bihar government has launched the Chief Minister’s Women Employment Scheme. Under this scheme, the target is to make at least one woman entrepreneurs from every family in the state.
First 10 thousand then up to 2 lakhs
In the first phase, the eligible women will be given financial assistance of ₹ 10,000 directly to the bank account to start employment. If needed, women will also be given additional assistance of up to ₹ 2 lakh. The scheme will be operated by Bihar Rural Livelihood Promotion Committee (Jeevika). Women will not only get financial assistance, but will also get entrepreneurship and technical training.
Who can take advantage?
The beneficiary woman should be between 18 and 60 years of age. The applicant or her husband should not be an income tax payer. The applicant or her husband should not be in any regular or contract based government job. This benefit will be available only to women associated with livelihood self -help groups. Women who are not associated with it will have to first become a member of the livelihood group.
Process of application in rural and urban areas
In rural areas, livelihood groups and village organizations will accept applications and pursue the process. A special online portal for urban women will be created from where the application can be made. Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme, the government has provided that women will not only be given financial assistance, but will also be given entrepreneurship and technical training. In training, women will be taught women to choose the right business, successfully run and make financial plans. Along with this, information related to management and technical skills will also be given.

Launch of livelihood cooperative bank
After starting employment, women’s work will be reviewed. If needed, they will be given additional assistance of up to ₹ 2 lakh. The entire amount will go directly to the Aadhaar -linked bank account through DBT (direct profit transfer). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Bihar State Jeevika Nidhi Credit Cooperative Union Limited on Tuesday. This bank will provide cheap loans to rural women entrepreneurs and the entire process will be on digital platforms.
