The price of its base model starts from Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, MG Windsor EV falls in the slightly expensive compact SUV category. MG also offers a battery subscription service for it (₹3.9-4.5 per kilometre), but if you buy it with the battery, it costs between ₹14 lakh to ₹18.50 lakh.

Battery range of Tata Punch EV and MG Windsor EV
The Punch EV comes with two battery options of 30 kWh and 40 kWh, which give a maximum range of up to 355 kilometers (C75 cycle) on a full charge. Its ARAI-certified range is up to 468 km, which is good enough for daily city driving and regular charging patterns. On the other hand, the MG Windsor EV gets a 38 kWh or 52.9 kWh battery pack. Its electric motor generates power of 182.3 hp and torque of 200 Nm. The maximum range of the variant with larger battery is 449 kilometers.
