ID The Fake On OTT: The Malayalam thriller ID The Fake starring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Divya Pillai made its theatrical debut on January 3. Written and directed by Arun Sivavilasam, the film was well received. However, it took more than 6 months to finalise the OTT deal for its digital premiere. Amid the OTT release demand, the makers have finally revealed the streaming platform and the release date is yet to be announced.

Dhyan Sreenivasan’s Malayalam thriller will be available to stream on Saina Play. The streamer announced the same on their Instagram handle. The post read, “Get ready for this!!! ID: The Fake is streaming soon only on Saina Play. Releasing in Malayalam | Tamil | Telugu.”
Soon after the announcement, fans asked for a Hindi version too. One comment read, “Sir Hindi dubbed mein release nhi hoga kya.”
What Is The Story Of ID: The Fake Movie?
The film brings to the light the dark side and reality of cybercrime, morphing, and its devastating impact on people’s lives. ID: The Fake focuses on a young food delivery guy, named Vinod (played by Dhyan Sreenivasan), who works at his neighbour’s restaurant. He is about to embrace new phase as a father but his life takes an unexpected turn. One day at work, he discovers a nude photo of his wife circulating online, sending his world into chaos.

Unable to process and feeling betrayed, Vinod’s marriage descends into chaos. He starts to become aloof and distant from his wife, who is unaware of the cause of the change in his behaviour. After this, Vinod, tries to trace and identify the source of the image and uncover truth behind it.
