The dream of the country’s first bullet train service is now going to be fulfilled soon. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has announced that high-speed bullet train between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will start running very soon. Where earlier 8 hours from this train, the same distance will now be completed in just 2 hours and 7 minutes. The minister said that work on the project is going on fast and the speed of the train will be 320 km per hour. The total 508 km long route will start from the Bandra-Kurla complex in Mumbai, which will go to Ahmedabad via Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand.

New railway projects operations in Gujarat

In an event in Bhawanagar Terminus, the minister said that in the last 11 years, the Modi government has laid 34,000 km of new railway line and now about 12 km of new track is being prepared daily. More than 1,300 railway stations are being developed in a new form across the country. Many new projects of railway are also being worked out in Gujarat, such as Porbandar-Rajkot new train service, coach maintenance facility at Ranwav station at a cost of Rs 135 crore, Porbandar railway flyover and speed power terminals.

Facilities like Vande India in Amrit Bharat trains

Railway projects are also being carried forward in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The Railway Minister said that due to the double engine government in both the states, the pace of development has increased further. The minister also announced new trains for these states. He said that today modern trains like Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat and Namo Bharat have become the new identity of the country. Amrit Bharat trains have facilities like Vande India but fare is cheaper. Vaishnav said that he himself became emotional after hearing the expectations of the passengers. According to him, these are not just new trains but are the new speed of the country’s progress.
