Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is completely occupied with his political engagements as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. After taking a break after undergoing a surgery, Pawan Kalyan is working without breaks. For now, he has no time for films. The actor-turned-politician has sent a clear message to his producers that he would not be taking any acting assignment this year. He will team up with Sujeeth for OG 2 and the shoot commences after summer 2027. For now, Sujeeth has to complete Nani’s Bloody Romeo and his team is working on the pre-production work of OG 2.
The entire scriptwork of OG 2 is completed and Pawan Kalyan was impressed with Sujeeth’s narration. Pawan Kalyan will return back to films with OG 2 and he is not taking up any other films for now. Surendar Reddy’s film which was announced is almost kept on hold. Despite multiple meetings, Pawan Kalyan was not convinced with the script. Pawan Kalyan is not in talks with any other directors for now. He is also not in a hurry to take up more films.
Pawan Kalyan is committed to work with People Media Factory, Ram Talluri, Mythri Movie Makers and others in the future. For now, his focus remains on AP politics and OG 2 starts during the second half of 2027.
