Correct recipe for making jaggery tea
Material
Water – 1 cup
Milk-½ cup
Tea leaves – 1 teaspoon
Jaggery (crushed or small pieces) – as per taste
Ginger or cardamom – optional
Method of making jaggery
- Put water in a pan and keep it on gas. You can add crushed ginger or cardamom to it. Let the water boil well, so that the flavor of the spices comes out.
- Add tea leaves to boiling water and let it cook for 12 minutes. When the color of the water becomes dark, then reduce the flame.
- Now add milk to it and cook the tea until it boils. Keep in mind that the tea should be cooked thoroughly and the milk should not remain raw.
- This is the most important step. After milk and tea boil well, turn off the gas completely. Only after turning off the gas, add jaggery and stir well with a spoon, so that the jaggery dissolves completely.
- Jaggery should always be added only after switching off the gas. With this method there is no risk of milk curdling. Now filter the tea and enjoy hot jaggery tea.
