The names of the players of Team India who will have the responsibility of winning the T20 World Cup for the second consecutive time have been revealed. The Senior Selection Committee of BCCI announced the 15-member squad of Team India for the T20 World Cup 2026 starting from 7th February. In this, most of the players were the same who have been playing for the last one and a half years but a shocking decision was taken regarding Shubman Gill, who was dropped from the squad. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar explained the reason for this decision but head coach Gautam Gambhir refused to say anything on this matter.
