We’ve heard many stories of catfights among actresses in Hindi cinema. While some are mere rumours, some actually have been true as one recalls actresses commenting on each other. For instance, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon actually never got along with each other. Similarly, Karisma had once also taken a dig at her contemporaries Manisha Koirala and Pooja Bhatt after they allegedly called her ‘arrogant’.
Once Karisma was asked about being arrogant with a no-nonsense attitude. She was asked that other actresses felt so. Reacting to it, she had said in an interview with Stardust, “I’m so tired of this. Why can’t these girls keep their mouths shut once and for all? I don’t understand what’s wrong with them. In every interview they give, they have to mention my name in some context or the other. Especially Pooja Bhatt and Manisha Koirala. I really don’t know why. Yes. I’m proud of being a Kapoor and will always be.”
