Who composed Shiv Tandav Stotra?

According to the popular legend, Ravana, the king of demons, was a great devotee of Mahadev. Once he thought of lifting Mahadev along with Mount Kailash and bringing him to Lanka. Thinking this, as soon as he picked up Mount Kailash, Mahadev pressed the mountain lightly with his thumb. Due to this, Ravana started getting buried under Mount Kailash. Then he composed Shiva Tandav Stotra to please Mahadev. Hearing this, Mahadev became happy with him and also gave him many boons.
