Aaliya Siddiqui wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui once opened up about their early days together. In a recent interview, she shared how Nawazuddin used to surprise her with a simple bread-and-butter meal, a gesture that meant a lot during their financially tough times.
Aaliya on early days with Nawazuddin
In a past chat with Bollywood Bubble, Aaliya looked back on the time when she and Nawazuddin Siddiqui lived in a small rented house, with the rent paid by his brother, Shamas Siddiqui. Back then, Nawazuddin hadn’t become a star yet, and Aaliya had no source of income. She remembered how he expressed his love through small, thoughtful gestures. “It was a good time because I was in love,” she shared, recalling those early, simpler days.
Nawazuddin’s sweet gesture during tough times
“He would borrow Rs 50 and get bread and butter because I was really fond of eating bread and butter… I would appreciate that he got such an expensive thing because, for us, bread and butter were expensive luxuries at that time.”
She added that Nawazuddin used to surprise her by preparing it in the morning. Aaliya also revealed that during those days, she wasn’t good at household chores, so Nawazuddin, despite their struggles, looked after everything at home.
