Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Episode Recap
In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, airing on October 3, Raghav attempts to persuade Kabir to end his relationship with Maira. He offers various incentives, including a new car, camera, or house, but Kabir stands firm, refusing to be swayed. This infuriates Samar, who confronts Kabir aggressively. As Kabir tries to leave, Nandani intervenes, prompting Samar to push him back and issue a stern warning. Kabir, however, remains unyielding, telling Samar he is not intimidated. Samar’s threat escalates, warning Kabir that any mention of Maira could have dire consequences for her and her family, leaving Kabir visibly shaken.
Meanwhile, the Poddar family prepares to bid farewell to Maira as she prepares for her move to New Zealand. Gifts are exchanged, with Kajal presenting her a laptop, Manisha offering cash, and Kaveri gifting a Lord Ganesha idol. Maira glances at Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) in the garden, who avoids her gaze. Abhira reassures herself that Maira will thrive in New Zealand, but she struggles with guilt, fearing Maira may resent her for the distance.
Later, Nandani informs Kabir about Maira’s departure, leaving him in disbelief. Maira inquires about Vidya, only to learn that Manisha is fetching her. When Vidya questions why Maira is being sent away, Manisha explains that the decision was made by Abhira and Armaan (Rohit Purohit), which Vidya disputes, insisting they could be mistaken. Despite Manisha’s pleas, Vidya refuses to meet Maira.
As Maira prepares to leave, Kaveri gives her a gift from Abhira, which Armaan advises her to open only upon reaching New Zealand. Abhira hopes to reunite with Maira in a year. Meanwhile, Krish offers to take Maira to the airport, and the Damanis learn of her departure. Samar believes the Poddars made the right choice. However, Maira’s concern for Armaan’s injury leads to a tense moment as she questions him about it, but he downplays it.
Before her flight, Maira insists on visiting the temple despite Krish’s warnings about potential delays. Armaan agrees to take them, but the visit ends in chaos when Maira mysteriously vanishes, leaving behind a letter and a tube for Armaan. His devastation is palpable as he realizes she is gone.
Meanwhile, Bhairvi grows suspicious of Kabir’s prolonged absence. Nandani assumes he is asleep, but Bhairvi discovers Vasu, Kabir’s childhood friend, who reveals he is assisting him before fleeing and leaving behind a letter for the Damanis.
Upon returning home, Abhira and Armaan are hit with the shocking news of Maira’s escape with Kabir. As Raghav and Samar arrive at the Poddar residence searching for Kabir, both families are left in turmoil, anxious about the couple’s next move.
