The central government has given permission to new airlines to operate in India after several meetings with interested airlines. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said on Wednesday that he met the teams of Shankha Air, Al Hind Air and FlyExpress last week. He said that Shankha Air has already received the No Objection Certificate (NOC), while Al Hind Air and Flyexpress have received NOCs this week. This decision has been taken after the incident due to which more than 4,000 IndiGo flights were canceled in the first week of December and chaos spread.

Now soon the company will get its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from DGCA. The company will start its operations from Cochin International Airport in Kochi, Kerala. The company will focus on domestic flights in the initial phase. After which it will be expanded to international destinations like United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
