The S-500 is mainly designed to prevent missiles capable of nuclear attacks. It can destroy the hypersonic missile in the air. Stealth aircraft can also be killed. It is the next generation air defense system. It is also known as Prometheus. It has been designed to combat emerging hazards such as hypersonic glide vehicles, high speed drones and LEO (low economy) satellites. The satellite cannot be targeted from S-400.
